An unnamed photograph from May & Amelia Inge's album supplied by a descendant. Some of the photographs may date back to the 1860s. May Inge was a grocer in Canterbury and a Bible thumping Methodist lay preacher. Amelia was John Hobday's daughter. John Hobday was a businessman of many trades. In 1882 an advert described him as a "Cabinet Maker, Upholster, Auctioneer, Appraiser, House Agent, House Decorator, Undertaker, &c., 60 & 61 Palace Street, Canterbury. Contractor for Removal of Furniture in Pantechnicon Vans, by Road or Rail."

Percy Wildman Lushington born c. 1858/9 born Kent, England

PERCY WILDMAN-LUSHINGTON, Gentleman, 2nd Lieut. 25th Foot, late Lieut. W. Kent Militia. Bom Dec. 24, 1858, being the second son of the late James
Lushington Wildman-Lushington, Esq., J. P. co. Kent, who with his issue were authorised to assume the additional surname and arms of Lushington, in addition to and after
that of Wildman by Royal Licence, dated Dec. 27, 1869, by his wife Charlotte Anne, dau. of Robert Bushe of Dublin city and of the Island of Trinidad. Armorial bearings —
Quarterly i and 4, or, on a fesse wavy, between three lions' heads erased vert, as many ermine spots gold (for Lushington) ; 2 and 3, azure, on a chevron argent, between two
eagles displayed in chief and a lion passant in base or, two ermine spots between three estoiles of the field (for Wildman). Mantling vert and or. Crests — i. on a wreath of
the colours, a lion's head erased vert, ducally gorged or (for Lushington) ; 2. out of a mural coronet chequy or and azure, a demi-lion-rampant argent, supporting a battle-axe
