1870's Henry Wilshere is unmarried, in his early 20's and living with his sister Miss. Mary Ann Wilshere in Suffolk, he is working as a National Schoolmaster. He was born in Bristol, Somerset.

Henry Wilshere is noted as a certified teacher in the early 1880's, and he is living with his wife Charlotte at the School masters house, St. Paul's Church, Church Street.

In the early 1880's there are also Two School Mistress's residences, one for Sarah A. Knibb in her late 20's who's a certified teacher, born in Worchestershire, and Annie Crump? in her mid 20's who is also a certified teacher from Margate, Kent.

In the early 1880's living on the same street, next door at 11 Church Street there are two sisters Florece E. Peice a certified school mistress and Beatrice L. M. Piece a teacher, who might also be working for St. Paul's school.
